Johann zarco: “It's a very good weekend, since we finish second and we lead the world championship. The race was very difficult because there were some great fights between many drivers. I fought well and felt like I could find my rhythm and take the lead, but sometimes I made a mistake and lost positions again. I saw that Nakagami had taken the lead and I thought it would be possible to catch him. When I came back second he had set a good pace and so I gave my best and thought I could catch him before the end, even with the rain.
I think stopping the race was a good decision because the track was very slippery at the end, and it was risky.
I'm happy for Takaaki, he deserves it.
Overall, the weekend went very well, I'm very happy with how it went, and I want to thank my whole team because I'm very comfortable on the bike, which is the key to being in the lead. »
