The tricolor's convalescence is going well but takes time. The teammate ofHector Barbera will not be able to set foot on the asphalt of Assen in a week and will be replaced within the team again by the Ducati test rider Michele Pirro : “ I'm really disappointed to have to withdraw again » Loris commented. “ Now, it is true that the doctors warned me very early on that being in Assen would be complicated. « It's a shame because I love the circuit there, especially my record set in Superbike. I enjoyed the race I had there last year and I'm looking forward to getting back to my team and working with them to resolve our issues. I really would have liked to be there, but I have to resolve to wait a few more weeks and the trip to Germany with a functional foot. I work on it every day and it’s going in the right direction. I wish the best to Hector and Michele to bring back great results ».
The German Grand Prix will take place at the Sachsenring from July 15 to 17.
