This morning, FP3 was a sort of apotheosis of what a MotoGP session can offer; multiple twists and turns in the ranking, falls (without seriousness) without any real explanation, figures of speech and, finally, a surprise poleman at the last second.

But all this is to be forgotten because the rain has come to sweep away all the certainties that we could have had. And, to make things worse, not a real heavy rain, but just a sort of drizzle which creates exactly the conditions that Jorge Lorenzo, one of the drivers who was trapped this morning, hates.

It's 18° and the track is 25°.

FP4: When the green lights come on…no one moves! The minutes pass in silence on the Dutch circuit and you have to wait 10 minutes to see Marc Marquez, equipped with rain tires, takes to the track. Andrea Dovizioso and a few others are following suit.

We then turn in 1'50 and Dani Pedrosa turns out to be the fastest while Cal Crutchlow crashes at turn #10 while Jack Miller and Alvaro Bautista prefer #9. Stefan Bradl follows at #4, Scott Redding and Danilo Petrucci at #8, Dani Pedrosa at #11.

Meanwhile, Marc Marquez clocked a 1'48.628, seven tenths ahead of Valentino Rossi.
Jorge Lorenzo experiences a “Marquez Attitude” change of motorcycles, without putting a foot on the ground.
Only Michele Pirro did not complete a full lap.
