Undefeated after three participations on Texan soil, Marc Marquez is logically the big favorite for the Grand Prix of the Americas which will take place this weekend.

However, the part could prove more difficult than expected, because unique electronics and a less brutal engine at the request of the pilots give the RC213V 2016 a relatively modest acceleration which the latter complain about.

However, apart from the sequence which follows the first turn, the Circuit of the Americas is more of an on/off type and therefore requires serious thrust from the engine.

Marc Márquez: “We'll see how we do in Austin this year. It's a circuit that I love, where I feel strong, and where I have always had good races and had fun. That said, the circuit requires solid acceleration, which has not been one of our strong points so far this year. So, we have to wait and see how we can handle the situation. We continue to work hard, as we did in Argentina, and we will try to find the best possible pace for Sunday's race. »
