It is certain that the Austin route, which is that of a Grand Prix of the Americas which will experience its seventh edition this weekend is the secret garden of a Marc Márquez who has never experienced defeat in MotoGP. But there is another pilot whose affection for Texas is pronounced. It is Sam Lowes, which also shares the common point with the official Honda of falling often…

But let's not talk about the angry subjects. This week-end, Sam Lowes could make up for his latest disappointment in Argentina with art and style. During the last six visits to Austin, Moto2 has always dedicated a different rider. Achieving the double since his last achievement in 2015, which was his first in a Grand Prix, would therefore give him a special place on the shelves.

The Federal Oil Gresini Team rider, during the last three appearances in the Moto2 category, has always qualified on the first row: 2nd in 2015 and 2018 and 3rd in 2017. He won in 2015 before taking a second place in 2016, season where he already wore his current colors.

Sam Lowes is currently eleventh in the Moto2 championship with 10 points.
