After two disappointing first meetings, Fabio Quartararo decided to really launch his season in Texas. The Frenchman actually set the best time during this first day of Moto3 at the Grand Prix of the Americas.

With a performance of 2'16.250 which brings him closer to the best performance of last year's dry FP3, i.e. 2'16.195, he also restores the image of a Leopard team dominating on this same terrain a year ago, but with an Englishman on a Honda. This time, it's a tricolor with a KTM which shows its claws, in front of a fenati also in great form and who was the first to go under the 2'17 lap mark.

The two Austrian motorcycle riders are ahead of the HondasAntonelli and NAVARRO which was the fastest in the morning in Austin. bastianini closes the top 5 like the list of drivers which runs in 2'16. The two beginners Open up et Canet lead the rest of the peloton where we count the Mahindra of bagnaia. Oettl and Kornfeil close the top 10 notably at one Danilo honorable thirteenth whileAlexis Masbou fights to be twentieth. Right in front of the hero of Argentina, Pawi.

We will note in this session the modest fourteenth place of the championship leader Brad Binder, who, incidentally, is a KTM official. Or the mark of the two machines which point at the head. Hostilities in Moto3 will resume tomorrow from 16:00 p.m. French time.
