De facto poleman on the grid, 2nd at the finish of this Grand Prix of the Americas, Maverick Vinales was certainly unable to do anything against an imperial Marc Márquez but, barely getting off his official Yamaha M1, he nevertheless confided to the site camera MotoGP.com his pleasure at having achieved his first podium of the year in Texas.
Is this podium in Texas a sign of other good results to come?
