Friday evening, during the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, an exceptional tribute was paid to the 'Kentucky Kid' when the MotoGP™ paddock gathered on 'Hayden Hill' at turn #18 to reflect and take a series of photos historical.
This tribute was the end point of a day where the number 69 was withdrawn from the premier category of Grands Prix. Previously, a moving ceremony took place Friday at noon, local time, for the official retirement of the number, in a room filled with Hayden's family, fiancée, friends, former rivals and teammates to celebrate the life and career of the MotoGP™ Legend.
