Barely alighting from his official Yamaha M1 after arriving in second position in a breathtaking Australian Grand Prix, Valentino Rossi spoke to the site's microphone MotoGP.com, very happy to have found a competitive machine and to have been able to achieve an extraordinary race.
Congratulations on second place here at Phillip Island in such an exciting race! You really had to fight, and even Marc came to rub your left shoulder...
Valentino Rossi : “I really enjoyed it!” This track is incredible and it was a super great race! You know, all the drivers at the front are very aggressive, so you must be stupider than them! (laughs). More aggressive. It was a superb fight with Zarco with Iannone, with Márquez, with Vinales. I really wanted to try as hard as possible to be on the podium, and in the end, I am very happy with this second place.
