As expected, all the drivers started on the soft rear tyre. At the front, they are all medium front tires except John Zarco et Jack Miller who choose a tender one.

Andrea Iannone et Jack Miller get stuck in the wheel Marc Marquez, which allows the Suzuki rider to take command with an already fast 1'29.265.

In the next passage, Marc Marquez sets the record straight in 1'28.884.

Behind this trio, we find Johann zarco, who rides alone, less than 3 tenths from the Honda driver. The French rider precedes the two official Yamahas Valentino Rossi et Maverick Vinales.

At the end of the first run, Andrea Dovizioso is in 12th and last place, more than a second behind Marc Márquez.

We see clearly Andrea Iannone wait for Marc Márquez to get back on the track, but the maneuver fails.

Cal Crutchlow minor fall at turn #4 while John Zarco provisionally takes pole position in 1'28.744.

One minute from the checkered flag, Maverick Vinales takes it away from him for 2 hundredths of a second before Marc Márquez reacts in 1'28.386.

The opposite, Andrea Dovizioso must settle for 11th position, just ahead Dani Pedrosa.
