#AustrianGP Moto3 FP3: Bastianini overtakes Mir on the wire!

After the generally disrupted weather conditions yesterday, a beautiful blue sky dominates the Red Bull Ring circuit this morning in Spielberg, with temperatures of 18° in the air and a track temperature of 22°, i.e. almost ideal conditions. .

Even if yesterday's sessions had only relative significance due to the unusual track conditions, we could see that Joan Mir, last year's winner already having six victories this year, intended to repeat his result. However, to do this he will have to surpass Aron canet et Enea Bastianini apparently very lively, as well as a Roman Fenati that must never be forgotten.

The latter's teammate, Jules Danilo, seems to be getting off to a much better start to his weekend in the Czech Republic, which can only satisfy French enthusiasts.

In the championship, we find the same situation as the classification of the last Grand Prix of the Czech Republic: Joan mir (Leopard Racing) in front Roman Fenati (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers), with 42 points in advance.

When the pit lane red light goes out, We observe that George Martin, although still injured in his foot and having skipped FP2 yesterday, is riding his team Honda Del Conca Gresini Moto3 this morning.

From his third round launched, Joan mir moved to the top of the standings with a very tempting 1'37.457 at the start of the session, a time which he improved to 1'37.055 before the end of a first run presenting a hierarchy Mir (Leopard Racing), Oettl (Südmetall Schedl GP Racing), Law (Leopard Racing), Bendsneyder (Red Bull KTM Ajo), Bastianini (Estrella Galicia 0,0), Sasaki, Antonelli (Red Bull KTM Ajo), Norrodin (SIC Racing Team), McPhee (British Talent Team) et Tuff (Honda Team Asia).

Jules Danilo (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers) is then 15th, Romano Fenati (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers) 21st.

On resumption, George Martin is positioned sixth despite his injury, but that's good Joan Mir who struck a big blow by registering a 1'36.381, a time which will however be withdrawn for having exceeded the limits of the track.

So, it's the Dutch pilot Philipp Oettl who credited the best time in 1'36.904.

Two minutes from the checkered flag, Joan mir, then in 1'37.000, made his effort and took provisional pole position in 1'36.850.

You then have to wait for the flag to drop to see it emerge Enea Bastianini like hell and set the best time in 1'36.829 despite being hampered in the pack.

Jules Danilo, 25th, missed his session.

With a gap of 2 hundredths between the two men and 24 drivers in the same second, nothing is set in stone in this category.
