Jorge Lorenzo (soft/medium) is the quickest to get into rhythm and sets a first benchmark in 1'26.124 during his first flying lap.

In the next passage, it is Andrea Dovizioso (soft/medium) who takes command in 1'24.208 ahead Marc Márquez (hard medium). The Ducati rider improves to 1'24.103 during the next loop.
