While MotoE qualifying, contested under a clear sun, saw Mike Di Meglio prove to be the fastest, it is now on very wet asphalt that the race reduced from 8 to 5 laps for the electric motorcycles will take place. This is supposed to explain this, although we don't really understand the reason...

Everyone is on rain tires and, when the red lights go out, Xavier Simeon takes the best of Mike Di Meglio but the French driver regains the advantage at the 2nd turn.

Niki Tuuli will make a passage in the gravel trap while Eric Granado comes between the 2 men.

On the second lap, the Brazilian driver took the lead and tried to escape. Mike Di Meglio however manages to stay in his wake and regains command when Eric Granado loses the front of his motorcycle.

Behind the French world champion, Xavier Simeon is 8/10, but cannot contain Héctor Garzo who jostles a bit to overtake...

The Spanish pilot then tries to get back on Mike Di Meglio and makes the junction in the last lap. However, he showed a little too much haste and made a mistake after sliding from behind while braking a little too optimistic...

Mike Di Meglio crossed the finish line as a lone winner, ahead of Xavier Siméon, Bradley Smith and Alex de Angelis.

Rider Marc VDS takes the lead in the MotoE Cup.
