After a fun weekend in Australia, Barry Baltus had another complicated meeting in Thailand. Starting from 25th place on the grid, Barry Baltus expected to experience some difficulties, but after a dangerous fall, the Belgian was satisfied to finish the meeting without a scratch.

Despite a difficult start to the weekend and a chaotic Qualifying, Barry Baltus showed some good things in the opening laps of the Moto2 Thailand Grand Prix. The #7 seemed to find his rhythm, and was back on the verge of the points.

While he was trying to attack the top-15 before completing the first third of the race, Baltus however fell on the seventh lap, ending his chances of increasing his tally in Thailand.

A fall that gave the RW Racing GP rider a few scares, who fell in the middle of the track while Mario Aji was passing by. The number 34 did everything he could to avoid the Belgian rider, who let his hand drag into the front wheel of his opponent's Moto2. More fear than this evil: only the rider's glove flew off. Following this incident, Barry Baltus quickly forgot the disappointment of having ended the weekend in this way, and considers himself lucky not to be injured.

"Happy to finish this weekend without injury," he reassures. "It was a difficult weekend, but we keep our heads up, and we don't give up for the next one." comments the latter on his Instagram account.

Hoping to be able to get things back on track next week, the Belgian apologizes to the opponent he involved in his accident in Buriram.

“It wasn’t the weekend I expected and certainly not the weekend I hoped for., entrusts then Barry Baltus. It was a very difficult race and after four laps the pace was not there, I was struggling a lot and fighting with the bike. I don't have much to say, I hope the feeling will be better next week.

Too bad I couldn't repeat the solid weekend we had in Australia, he regrets. We struggled all weekend, so let's look forward to the next race. I also apologize to Jorge Navarro and the American Racing team."
