As the day dawned this Sunday morning on the Paul Ricard circuit, the Yamaha of GMT94 was leading the way, just ahead of the Fireblade of the FCC TSR Honda France team. The other Honda Endurance Racing Fireblade was in third position two laps in, with the SERT GSX-R fourth.
The GMT94 Yamaha scored the first 10 points allocated at the Bol d'Or, leading the standings after 8 hours of racing ahead of the FCC TSR Honda France and the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team. At 23 p.m., GMT94 Yamaha was ahead of FCC TSR Honda France, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, Honda Endurance Racing and IV Racing BMW CSEU.

The GMT94 Yamaha fought for a long time with the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team at the head of the race. Delayed by brake and then chain problems, the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team lost ground to the FCC TSR Honda France who also took command at the start of the race.
Honda Endurance Racing has not left the top 5 since the start of the race. The IV Racing BMW CSEU quickly placed itself in the wake of the official machines and was ahead of three other BMWs at 23 p.m., Tecmas, Wepol Motorrad by Penz13 and Völpker NRT48 Schubert Motors by ERC.

Ninth at 23 p.m. and first Superstock classified, Tati Team Beaujolais Racing won two bonus points ahead of Team April Moto Motors Events. Aside from the 23 p.m. bonus points, there were two other Superstock crews in 11th and 12th places: Team 33 Accessories Louit Moto and 3Art Yam Avenue Moto Team 95. Leader at the start of the race, Yamaha Viltaïs Experiences plunged to the bottom ranking after a fall.
Team SRC Kawasaki retired due to engine failure in the first hour. Abandonment also for the YART Yamaha, although off to a good start, following the fall of Kohta Nozane.

At the 17th hour, the FIM EWC organizer announced 25 official retirements. Following the refueling of the leading Honda, the GMT94 took back command a few minutes before the 17th hour. Tati Team Beaujolais Racing still dominated the Superstock category, ahead of Team 33 Accessories Louit Moto and 3Art Yam Avenue Moto Team 95.
