It was a sumptuous fight between the Yamaha of GMT94 and the CRB1000RR Fireblade of FCC TSR Honda France at the end of the race. The two machines exchange first position during the refuelings.

SERT received a “stop and go” penalty because a mechanic did not have a helmet in the pit lane and because the bike was “pushed outside an authorized area.” Then the chain broke and Gregg Black had to push the GSX-R back. The Suzuki lost a lot of time in the adventure and fell back to eighth position four hours from the finish.

The fight for victory then pitted FCC TSR Honda France against GMT94, with around a minute between the two machines at 11 a.m., depending on the refueling stops. The GMT took the opportunity to regain first place as soon as the FCC TSR stopped. Honda Endurance Racing in third position could still hope to win, despite being more than a lap behind the two leading machines.

In Superstock, Tati Team Beaujolais Racing from the Enjolras family always precedes Team 33 Accessories-Louit Motos and IV Racing BMW CSEU.
