Taking advantage of his vacation in Brazil, his mother's native country, Franco Morbidelli unveiled a suit in the national colors that he will wear at the next Grand Prix, in Brno, on August 6.
Franco Morbidelli : “This is my way of honoring my Brazilian roots decorated in spectacular ways. I hope this brings me luck and helps me achieve victory in Brno. Everyone knows my links with this country and I feel a little Brazilian. For me, it's very special to be here in Brazil, my mother's country, and to feel the affection of the fans. I hope to come back several times, and who knows, maybe to race a Grand Prix there.
The goal is to continue at this pace to win the title at the end of the year and reach with a good mentality the MotoGP in 2018, where I will make my debut with the Estrella Galicia 0.0 Marc VDS team. »
Franco Morbidelli currently leads the championship with 34 points ahead of Tom Luthi, 57 on Miguel Oliveira and 61 on Alex Marquez.
