Hervé Poncharal, the team manager of the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team, yesterday visited the headquarters of the Japanese exhaust manufacturer Sakura.

He was warmly greeted by the directors and the entire Sakura team before visiting the factory of this important technical partner for Tech3, whose three-year collaboration will be renewed next year.

In addition to the Yamaha M1s from the Tech3 team, we understand that Sakura is also today the manufacturer of the exhausts which equip most of the production Yamahas...

Hervé Poncharal : “It was a fantastic experience for me to visit the Sakura factory in Japan today, and I really felt like I was part of their family. I was shown the entire manufacturing process, which was very impressive, and it was very interesting to see the level of professionalism and dedication of each member of staff. Mr. Kazuo Hirano established the company in 1950 and Sakura has continued to expand rapidly since he started. Now, there are 450 employees and factories in five countries outside of Japan, making it a major exhaust manufacturer. It's easy to see why, as the products offer remarkable design and quality, and so I must reiterate how excited I am to continue our partnership for the 2017 season."
