Having the responsibility of testing the brand new Aprilia RS-GP 2016 on the Aragon circuit, the session would have ended badly for the French rider Mike Di Meglio since he would have fallen during the second day of testing while getting up with a fractured elbow.

More precise news on the Frenchman's state of health will be available soon.

While waiting for the first information from Aragon, we can see that Romano Albesiano's baby, moving away from the well-known Superbike and its descendant ART, has seen its lines refined. We are also talking about a more compact engine that turns in the opposite direction to the wheels, like Yamaha. We can get an idea from the only photo available at the moment.

As a reminder, Aprilia has decided to “skip” the official tests at Phillip Island, from February 17 to 19, preferring instead to ride in Qatar from February 21 to 23 with its official drivers, the German Stefan Bradl and the Spaniard Alvaro Bautista, before returning from March 2 to 4 with the entire MotoGP field.
