Thailand has been working for two years to attract MotoGP to its Chang International Circuit in Buriram.

Today, it is our colleagues from speedweek who state this exclusively: a Grand Prix would take place there next year, and with its three categories.

This would therefore bring the number of Continental Circus 19 events to 20 or 2018, with the arrival of Finland, and while waiting for that of Indonesia which would then undoubtedly force the elimination of a Grand Prix, probably Spanish, the teams having committed to competing in a maximum of 20 Grands Prix.

The Buriram track has already hosted the Superbike Championship since 2015. It does not yet seem decided whether the MotoGP event would be scheduled at the start of the season, after Qatar, or at the end of the year during the Asia-Australia tour.

Update: We are putting our sentences in the conditional while waiting for an official press release.
