This season, the RW Racing GP team made its debut in the Moto2 category with Axel Pons.

With 17 points scored and a 19th position in the world championship, the start is honorable and the Dutch team wants to gain momentum.

So, next year it will have two Moto2s. But we still need to find pilots for them, and on this subject, Jarno Janssen, the team manager deplores the signing of Bo Bendsneyder at Tech3 Racing : “It is true that we have obtained two places for next season; We have recently been working hard on a plan for the next three years and several partners have been found to carry out this plan with us. We submitted the plan to Dorna and IRTA and they responded positively. A few days ago we had to confirm in writing that we wanted two places in Moto2 in 2018, and that's something we're obviously very happy about and a little proud of.

Let me start by saying that we would have preferred to work with a Dutch driver. We made a very good offer to Bo (Bendsneyder) for the next two years, and I personally regret that we had no serious chance to present our ambitious project to him. That's how it is, Bo made his choice and we must respect it. It is still a little too early to confirm that next season Axel will ride with us. »

In the absence of a Dutch driver, the name of the Belgian driver is mentioned in the paddock Livio Law…who was already racing at RW Racing GP last year.
