In the name of sport, and also because his career is a little atypical, we would like to see Romano Fenati get closer to Joan Mir in the championship.
And the Italian driver did everything for it: 12th in FP1 following technical problems and a shortened session, then 2nd in FP2, he then led FP3 and qualifying. So far it has been faultless on the lands of Her Majesty the Queen, but Joan mir didn't give up and qualified only one tenth behind Jules Danilo's teammate.
With 64 points ahead of Roman Fenati, the games are certainly not yet made for the Leopard Racing driver, but he has at least left himself with the right to make mistakes…
The conditions are excellent at the start of this Moto3 Warm up at Silverstone with now beautiful sunshine as well as temperatures of 20° in the air and 27° on the track.

From the first rounds, we find at the top of the table the usual trio Fenati, Mir and Canet, the latter showing that his problems encountered during qualifying have been forgotten.
Midway through the session, Albert Arenas suffered a big highside and Kaito Toba could not avoid it.

Most of the drivers then ride together and the hierarchy is made up of Martin (2'13.935), Rodrigo, Guevara, Canet, Fenati, Loi, Mir, Ramirez, Oettl and Bendsneyder.
Jules Danilo is 14th.
Four minutes from the checkered flag, Romano Fenati drove alone and accelerated his pace to take fourth position. Livio Loy does the same and climbs to second place but Jorge Martin remains the only one to lap in 2'13, relegating the rest of the field by at least 7 tenths.
In the last minute, Aron Canet repositions himself in the leading trio.
