A track at 33° and the sun returned, the weather allowed the MotoGP riders to enjoy a final free practice session to work on the settings and choices for the Sunday race. The big question still remained the tires since everyone agreed that the three choices proposed by Michelin each had their advantages and disadvantages. The verdict of this FP4 was therefore awaited.

But before knowing it, here is the situation table:

In 2'02.280, it's alex rins which caused a sensation on the Suzuki and downright defiance Marc Marquez et Vinales. zarco was fourth in front Dovizioso but the Frenchman pushed the pace to reach a 2'02.108 which allowed him to continue the reign of beginners in the exercise. All the tenors were then in hard rubber couples, apart from zarco et Vinales who were riding with a medium before.

As the last quarter of an hour approaches, Marquez attacked a 2'01.778 with still Kidneys like shadow. The two men were the only ones under the 2'02 mark.

Ten minutes from the end, the GP17 of Lorenzo refused to go any further. zarco entered the exclusive club of drivers in 2'01 and was inserted between Marquez et Kidneys in the top three. Red, unlike the tricolor and his teammate was on hard everywhere, and not with a medium before. He was then fifth, 0.434s from the lead.

Crutchlow showed his fangs at the end of the course just like Dovizioso. It was the latter who took the lead by 22 thousandths from the Englishman in 2'01.718. During this time, Marquez was always flanked by Kidneys who thus remained in the top 5. In hard and soft rear, Por Fuera set a time with his second bike in 2'01.060. The Ducati double was in sight before qualifying.

He was even assured under the checkered flag in front Crutchlow, Marquez Vinales et zarco while Kidneys was ahead Iannone. Red et Petrucci closed the top 10.
