Yamaha Motor Europe is pleased to reveal the schedule for the 3 Yamaha R2021 bLU cRU European Cup which will take place across six rounds of the FIM Superbike World Championship next season with two races per event.

La European Cup Yamaha R3 bLU cRU is a new championship for riders aged 12 to 20 who ride a Yamaha R3. These young people will have the opportunity to start this highly anticipated season during the pre-season tests at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli (March 19, 2021).

The championship will then join the World SBK for the opening round of the season on the famous TT circuit of Assen (April 23 and 24). Up to 36 drivers will compete in the hope of winning this first R3 bLU cRU European Cup.

The season will continue at Estoril (May 7 and 8), Misano (June 11 and 12), Donington Park (July 2 and 3) and Magny-Cours (September 3 and 4), before closing at the Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya (September 17 and 18). Each weekend will consist of 30-minute free practice sessions and Superpole sessions on Friday. Two ten-lap races will take place on Saturday.

The general classification champion will secure a place on the grid of the FIM Superport 300 World Championship in 2022 with the WorldSSP300 bLU cRU team, provided that he is over 15 years old. The runner-up will be offered a wildcard entry into the WorldSSP300 for the following season, as well as a 50% discount on their registration for the 3 Yamaha R2022 bLU cRU European Cup, a reward also granted to the rider who finishes third. .
