In the interview he gives after each Grand Prix to gpone.com, the Italian drivers manager looks back on the important moments of the Mugello weekend.

“After 2008, this Italian hat-trick in the three categories is great, achieved in front of 160 spectators, almost a record number. I think at Mugello the victory was more due to Dovi than to Ducati. This year, the Red was lower compared to 000 in terms of speed.

“I don't think they have that big advantage down the stretch like they had last year. An example is Casa Particular in Viñales, who did not lose much ground and remained rather close with his Yamaha.

« Andrea rode really well, running a smart race. OK wasn't in good shape, nor was the Honda with the tires, but Dovi's race was certainly one of the best of his life.

“As for the world title for Dovi, why not? It is a surprise. If the bike resists, he has everything to stay at his best until the end of the Championship and even for the best world title of his entire career.

« Petrucci was fabulous. I've never seen it so strong on a dry track. In qualifying he already showed that he was competitive, plus he managed to beat Rossi. This race could be a turning point for him and he has the right vehicle to do well.

« Maverick Vinales is an experienced pilot. Looks like he raced for years in MotoGP. He showed that he knows how to manage the race, and what's more, he has no weak points. I think this is the main problem for his opponents. He also has great confidence in his bike. It is easier for him to lose than for others to win. »
