Following the Buriram tests and with the first Grand Prix quickly approaching, Carlo Pernat examined the performances of the six manufacturers present in Thailand, paying a very nice compliment to Sylvain Guintoli.

This is still just a test and I can see Valentino being worried, although I can't believe a company like Yamaha can't offer a competitive bike. »
" The new Ducati was made following Lorenzo's suggestions. It's a good bike, said Dovizioso who has been there for 6 years, and also Petrucci. The only one who thinks differently is Jorge, who returned to last year's bike. In my opinion, Ducati has taken a step forward, thanks to Lorenzo's instructions. I think Jorge has a mental problem, not in the sense that he's crazy but when there's something wrong with him, the straw becomes a beam. He will recover and I will put him among the favorites this year. »
Without dwelling on KTM due to Pol Espargaro's package in Buriram, Pernat concluded on « Aprilia who made a completely new bike that is difficult to judge at the moment. In my opinion we need more economic means to get to King Arthur's Round Table, currently we are still struggling in the forest. With the means available, they have done a good job, but to make a leap forward, more investment is needed. »
