Marc Márquez, Dani Pedrosa, Tito Rabat, Maverick Viñales and Johann Zarco were penalized by the FIM MotoGP Jury for failing to slow down in a section of the track under double yellow flags, in particular when passing next to a motorcycle which had fell and was still on the track.
They were penalized by the cancellation of their time achieved during the lap during which the infraction occurred.
Thus Marc Marquez's best time drops to 1'44.478 instead of 1'44.295 initially.
Elsewhere in Moto3 Tony Arbolino was penalized with a drop of 12 places on the grid for driving too slowly.
