Barely got off his official Ducati GP17 after having achieved second place on the starting grid of the Catalan Grand Prix, Jorge Lorenzo responded to the site's microphone MotoGP.com.
Congratulations ! It's nine consecutive times that you've started from the front row in Barcelona, but this is the first time with a Ducati. Is it because you love this track or have you taken a step forward with the bike?
Jorge Lorenzo : “well, we just needed to be able to have the speed that we have in the race in qualifying. We had the pace in some races but in the end, during qualifying, we couldn't stay on the front row. But here we had this opportunity and, finally, I got the first front row of my life. From my life with Ducati! So in the end, I'm very happy. Every race, we do little things. In Jerez we made a podium, in Mugello we led the race, here it's the first time on the front row, so we will try to fight for a podium tomorrow. »
