Johann Zarco, 1th: “the start was good and I was quickly able to fight with the drivers. So I stayed behind Rins and tried to understand where he was better, and from the 7th lap I was faster than him but he was better in the final sector. I used those laps to figure out how I was better than him and eventually I found the speed. I knew I needed at least 6 turns to escape. Victory is for Salom. We will now celebrate on the podium, all the drivers together, thinking of him. »
Alex Rins, 2nd: “Johann was faster than me and he used a different gear. I am happy with this second position, it is for Luis Salom, he was a great man, and thank you to everyone. »
Takaaki Nakagami, 3rd: “At the beginning I had a really good start but then I got stuck in traffic. Finally I tried to get the podium and pushed as hard as possible, it was really difficult to keep the pace because the tire was slipping, but I'm really happy to get the podium for Luis. »
