It was a sparkling Marc Márquez who dominated the final of the qualifying session of a remodeled Catalan Grand Prix without firing a shot. The Honda official relaunched completely on the new Montmélo track, taking pole position with authority. His closest pursuer is more than four tenths behind. This is Jorge Lorenzo.
The Majorcan can nevertheless be relieved in view of the progress of this day which revealed a Yamaha digesting the new sectors of the Catalan circuit quite poorly.
