Between the end of the season and Christmas, the period is always favorable for the publication of new books, but this year is particularly rich, mainly due to the two major events which are Fabio Quartararo's world title in MotoGP and the end of the career of Valentino Rossi in Grand Prix. But not only !

So let's review the works that could soon be found under your tree...

1/ Prize for originality, comic strips Valentino Rossi, The Odyssey written by Michel Turco and illustrated by Renaud Garreta.

It was in 1996 that Valentino took his first steps in the world of GPs. He quickly showed extraordinary virtuosity and in 1997 he was crowned World Champion in the 125 category. Victory would never let him go! He will be 9 times world champion! This year, at the age of 42, Valentino Rossi ended his racing career. What could be better than a comic book to tell this extraordinary story?

The comics :
With 9 world championship titles, 115 victories and 235 podiums conquered during 26 Grand Prix seasons, Valentino Rossi will remain in the history of motorcycle racing as one of the greatest, if not the greatest : “The GOAT” as his fans call him. Beyond the results and the trophies, Valentino Rossi will have embodied his sport like few champions. Like Pelé or Mohamed Ali, the Italian knew how to go beyond the boundaries of his discipline to allow motorcycling to speak to as many people as possible. His personality, his charisma and his passion for racing have made him the idol of hundreds of thousands of fans around the world and the model of most of the young riders who are now vying for his succession in MotoGP.
Started in the 90s, concluded in 2021, Valentino's career will have been extraordinary. Conceived, drawn and written by Renaud Garreta and Michel Turco, this graphic novel traces her in
details by focusing on its key moments.
