A somewhat milky sky and a not insignificant wind, but comfortable temperatures, welcome the competitors of this fourth meeting of the Junio ​​Moto3 world championship season on the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit.

Lopez, Dallaporta, Arenas, Toba, Atiratphuvapat, Arbolino, Mc Phee, Fernandez and Masaki monopolize the first three rows of the starting grid.

When the red lights go out, Lopez, the poleman, starts very correctly but Toba, who made the best start, scolds him when braking for the first corner.

The two pilots begin to fight each other and make a slight impact on a peloton from which they quickly escape. Dalla Porta who doesn't intend to let them go.

At the end of the first round, the red flag is waved, following a collision that appeared benign but left Farid on the ground.

The race restarts a few minutes later for 10 turns instead of 16.

The departure is the opportunity to see exactly the same scenario as before; Lopez starts in the lead but is passed by Toba when braking. The Estralla Galicia driver nevertheless regains his position ahead of Toba, Atiratohuvapt, Arenas and Dallaporta.

The latter carries his Husqvarna at the head of the race at the end of the second loop, a position that he retained until the finish without really being able to completely get rid of Lopez and Toba.

Masaki and Sasaki, Toba's two teammates, are fiercely competing for 4th place with Arenas, demonstrating the rise of the team Asia Talent, While Atiratphuvapat, from the Thai sector, made a mistake during the 3rd round.

McPhee sailed to a disappointing 13th place.

On the last lap, Toba tried some desperate maneuvers to prevent Lopez from stealing second position from him but ended up falling a short distance from the finish. His teammate Sasaki nevertheless replaced him on the podium while Masia made a good comeback at the end of the race; 4th.

Dennis Foggia, the VR46 driver finished 9th, Mc Phee 11th, Enzo Boulom in a very correct 16th position given the conditions in which he rode this weekend.
