The starting grid is the same as in the first race which took place this morning at the Circuit de Catalunya: Lopez, Dallaporta, Arenas, Toba, Atiratphuvapat, Arbolino, Mc Phee, Fernandez and Masaki therefore monopolize the first three lines.

This time, Lopez retains his leadership at the start, while the first two turns are the site of a few minor falls. Arenas, Toba, Dalla Porta and Arbolino then got the better of Lopez. But no one manages to break away during the first rounds and the fight is heated, sometimes going as far as contact.

Like this morning, Dalla Porta takes command from a group of 6 drivers and set the fastest lap on the track while Toba, who was following him but still very spirited, fell again, losing the front. As a result, the Italian driver (team Laglisse) finds himself at the head of a small capital of one second on Arbolino, the holder of the SIC 58 team, himself detached by the same gap in front of the two remaining Asia Talent drivers, Masaki and Sasaki, as well as Arenas (Aspar) and Lopez (Estrella Galicia).

Exactly halfway, Arbolino joins and passes Dalla Porta but he takes his possession gently and never lets go and consolidates his new position as leader of the championship.

Behind, the fight is hot for the 3rd step of the podium but, with 3 laps to go, Marcos Ramirez (Leopard Junior Stratos), former leader of the championship and who had pushed hard to get back into this group, performs a terrifying highside before being hit by his own motorcycle which violently hits his head, which leaves him conscious but completely stunned in the middle of the track; red flag, race over.

Enzo Boulom concludes in 18th position, Lyvann Luchel at the 32th.
