The big absentee from these qualifications was Izan Guevara, this year's Champion in the ETC (European Talent Cup) category who took the opportunity to make his debut in CEV Moto3. He left José Antonio Rueda (Talent Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), David Alonso (Ángel Nieto Junior Team), Fermín Aldeguer (Mugen Race Junior Team) and Iván Ortolá (Angel Nieto Junior Team) fighting for second place in the ETC Championship. . 

In the final classification of Group A qualifications, Fermín Aldeguer (Mugen Race Junior Team) won with a time of 1'43.589, ahead of Diego Moreira (Talent Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), Marcos Ruda (Cuna de Campeones), José Antonio Rueda (Talent Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Juan Rodriguez (Cuna de Campeones).

On the French side, Gabin Planques (Larresport Bradol) finished honorably tenth, while Marceau Lapierre (Equipe de France-Filière GP) finished twentieth and Ilan Peron (Select Machines) twenty-fifth.

Group B was a little faster, with Iván Ortolá (Angel Nieto Junior Team) taking pole position in 1'43.217. He preceded the Frenchman Lorenzo Fellon (ZF GP School), Roberto Garcia (MRE Talent) and Daniel Munoz (Oneforex Cardoso Sch). Vincent Falcone (TFC Racing) was twelfth while Clément Rougé (Equipe de France-Filière GP) was positioned fourteenth and Marius Henry (Select Machines) twenty-ninth.
