No more El Diablo, and no more FIM CEV Repsol Championship in Sarthe. We had to make room for the electric motorcycle race which will take place for the first time at the 2020 French Grand Prix.
There was already a Handy Race in addition to the World Championship, which it would have been a real shame to eliminate, and it was therefore the CEV which bore the cost of the programming so that the timetables were not overloaded, the commissioners exhausted, and the paddocks overcrowded.
The calendar of the Junior Moto3 World Championship, the European Moto2 Championship and the European Talent Cup, which constitute the basic categories of the CEV Repsol, will be based next year on 8 races contested in 3 countries.
There will be 5 in Spain, 2 in Portugal and 1 in Italy, which is a good geographical distribution. There are many young Italian drivers who will be happy to race for the first time in their country.
