Clear skies but strong winds greet the Moto2 riders for their first 15-lap race of the weekend in Aragon.

Steven Odendaal maintains the advantage of its pole position in front Remy gardner but Tetsuta Nagashima misses his start and it's Alan Techer who finds himself third at the first corner.

Quickly, Gardner takes the lead but falls on the second lap.
Techer takes the opportunity to take the lead of a group of four drivers who break away from the peloton; Techer, Odendaal, Eremin and Nagashima.

Remember that the French pilot uses an original Japanese NTS prepared by the seasoned Bruno Performance team.

We are witnessing numerous changes of leader but from the 6th lap, Nagashima takes command of operations and increases the pace. Following a small error by the Japanese pilot, Odendaal comes back and manages to take a few steps ahead.

He will keep them until the checkered flag and the second half of the race therefore comes down to a fight for the second step of the podium between Techer, Eremin and Nagashima.

Two laps before the finish, Techer who was leading this group made a small splash and therefore found himself left behind. He manages to get back up and overtake Eremin but Nagashima has already taken off a bit... The Frenchman pushes forward by taking advantage of the slipstream in the straight, but has to settle for 3rd place.

Thibault Bertin finished 8th at 24 seconds, William Raymond 21e Thibault Gourin (Stock600) 22nd.

The championship is therefore led by Odendaal, ahead of Techer, Fuligni and Bertin, pending the second race, at 15 p.m.
