At the end of a fantastic race, the Frenchman managed to win for the first time with a lead of seven hundredths over 2016 Champion Steven Odendaal. It thus offered its first victory to the manufacturer NTS.

For this penultimate race of the Championship, the new 2016 Champion Steven Odendaal (Kalex AGR) preceded with 186 points, Alan Techer (NTS T PRO) with 124, Tetsuta nagashima (Kalex Ajo Motorsport) with 121 and Eric Granado (Kalex Promoracing) with 99. Which gave us four continents represented, with Africa, Europe, Asia and America in order. In Superstock 600, Thibaut Gourin (Yamaha Race Experience) with 128 points was chasing the leader Ivo Lopes (Kawasaki Oneundret) which totaled 165.

Pole position went to Odendaal – for the third time this season – ahead of Nagashima, Techer and Granado. Louis Rossi (MVR MR Griful) qualified 21st just ahead Thibaut Gourin (second in the Superstock 600) while William Raymond was twenty-fifth on his FTR from Ecurie Berga. It should be noted that last Sunday Steven Odendaal and Tetsuta Nagashima participated in the Aragón GP.

When the lights went out, Odendaal took the best start ahead of Techer, Ekky, Nagashima, Rosli and Fernandez. Techer took first position, followed by Odendaal, Ekky, Nagashima and Fernandez. The Frenchman resisted the South African well and the two men opened up a small gap of 0.7 on Nagashima and Ekky. Granado occupied the ninth position, Louis Rossi the seventeenth, Thibaut Gourin the nineteenth and Guillaume Raymond the twenty-fourth.

Rossi returned to fourteenth, battling with the first of the Superstock 600 Lukas Tulovic. With 5 laps remaining, Odendaal, Techer and Nagashima were still wheel to wheel. Then the Japanese lost a little ground, reaching 1.2. Techer took back command from Odendaal with 3 laps remaining. The fight was superb between the two men. In the last lap, Techer resisted magnificently. Odendaal tried his best, but Techer won ahead of Odendaal, Nagashima, Fernandez, Ekky and Granado.
