After a few fairly lively first laps, the leader of the provisional classification Steven Odendaal seized first position and managed to gradually distance himself from his competitors who were experiencing some problems (Augusto Fernandez, Alan Techer) and won after having perfectly managed his gap on the second Tetsuta Nagashima.
On the first row were the South African Steven Odendaal, leader of the Championship, Iker Lecuona and Augusto Fernandez. Alan Techer on the second row rubbed shoulders with the Brazilian Eric Granado and the Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima. Thibault Bertin started from twelfth position, Guillaume Raymond from twenty-second place and Thibaut Gourin (fourth Superstock) from twenty-eighth. Australian wild card Anthony West was twenty-first and Ana Carrasco twenty-third.
The best start was to the credit of Iker Lecuona, ahead of Steven Odendaal, Augusto Fernandez, Alan Techer and Eric Granado. Lecuona defended with great energy in front of Odendaal who was closely held by Augusto Fernandez. The group of six leaders was completed by Alan Techer, Tetsuta Nagashima and Eric Granado. Odendaal took the advantage in the third of twenty laps, and he tried to outrun Fernandez and Lecuona who were blocking Techer a little. Thibaut Bertin was ninth, Thibaut Gourin twenty-third (third Superstock) and Guillaume Raymond twenty-fifth. Anthony West occupied the seventeenth position and Ana Carrasco the twenty-ninth and last.
Odendaal and Fernandez were 12 laps ahead of Alan Techer, but Fernandez fell without seriousness and started last, 1.4 seconds behind the leader.
Halfway through the race, Alan Techer strangely went off the track and moved to fourth place behind Odendaal, Nagashima and Granado. Bertin was seventh at 9.8. The podium positions stabilized, with Odendaal leading by 1.2 over Nagashima, 4.2 over Techer, 5.6 over Granado and 7.1 over Lecuona. Samuele Cavalieri, then eleventh, fell without harmful consequences. Nagashima got slightly closer to Odendaal at times, but the South African managed his race to perfection. Nagashima tried his best with two laps to go, made a huge slide on worn tires, calmed down and secured second place behind Odendaal and ahead of Techer on his NTS Pro. Bertin finished seventh, West fifteenth, and Raymond twentieth just ahead of Gourin (second Superstock).
