For the final in Valencia of the FIM CEV Repsol World Championship, 55 drivers tried to qualify, a record number which forced the organizers to organize for the first time a repechage race over 6 laps at the end of the day.

The competitors were divided into two parts for the qualifying trials, and in group A Karel Hanika (KTM) preceded in 1'39.613 Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Husqvarna), followed by the six Hondas of Kaito Toba, Jeremy Alcoba, Kazuki Masaki, Jaume Masia, Alonso Lopez and Yari Montella. French Lyvann Luchel was in twenty-eighth position, in third place in the Production category.

In group B, Marcos Ramirez (KTM) was the fastest in 1'39.489 ahead Tony Arbolino (Honda), Albert Arenas (Mahindra) and Raul Fernandez (Husqvarna). Dennis Foggia fifth preceded Rory Skinner and the Thai Nakarin Atiratphuvapat. Enzo Boulom ranked fifteenth in his Mahindra in the colors of the FFM. In the general classification combined, Ramirez preceded Hanika, Dalla Porta, Arbolino, Toba and Arenas.

In the Championship nothing is decided because there are two races left this Sunday, while Lorenzo Dalla Porta totals 191 points, compared to 177 for his only opponent for the title Marcos Ramirez. Kaito Kato, third with 103 points, can no longer hope for the world junior crown. Enzo Boulom is twentieth with 16 points. The first race will take place this Sunday at 11 a.m. and the second at 14 p.m., both over 18 laps.
