In the absence of the person concerned, we did not make the traditional pilgrimage to Tavullia this year. Instead, we went to Coriano, the stronghold of the late Marco Simoncelli.

Located closer to the circuit and its monument than Tavullia, the town clearly displays the colors of its champion who died too soon, under the leadership of his father Paolo.

From banner to flame machine (Sunday evening, see video), from museum to souvenir shop, all located just in front of the church which overlooks the city, the Marco Simoncelli Foundation is also particularly invested in charitable projects in Burundi and the Dominican Republic.
