Questioned during the press conference of the French Motorcycling Federation on traffic issues in Paris (as a reminder, closure of the lanes on the bank since the start of the 2016 school year), the President of the FFM did not hide which camp he was in: that of users, and therefore bikers!

Jacques Bolle: “The core target of the French Motorcycling Federation is to deal with motorcycle sport, but our statutes also give us competence in matters of public roads and, at this level, we work very closely with the French Federation of Angry Bikers. We participate in all events of the DSCR extension and we are on all fronts in this matter, but let's be clear, the spearhead in this matter is our friends from the Fédération Française des Motards en Colère.
Today, in Paris, we can only speak out against the scandalous decisions of the city of Paris. It took me half an hour longer to get here by car compared to last year: thanks to Mrs. Hidalgo! We are at the stage where when we pass in front of the Paris town hall, we see motorists waving at the facade of the town hall. I saw it this morning!
We are in dogma. The decisions that Ms. Hidalgo made are dogmatic decisions that I find ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. It bothers everyone. Obviously, for the Parisian bobos, who don't have a car, that suits them, but wanting to prevent people from traveling is, for me, unconstitutional. But obviously, that's not what Ms. Hidalgo thinks and she's the mayor.
Otherwise, for the DSCR, we are always completely repressive; we regularly pile on repressive measures, even if the results are anything but obvious, and we regularly add one more measure. »

As a reminder, the traffic jams generated by the closure of the 3 kilometers of riverside lanes congest all of Paris and its outskirts, greatly increasing the level of pollution, including paradoxically on the banks themselves, which have nevertheless become pedestrianized.

This is therefore the very example of a totally ineffective and purely political decision, taken solely to satisfy a targeted electorate to the detriment of users who go to work, and a measure against which the President of the FFM vigorously protests. !
