MotoGP™ will continue to visit the Argentine circuit of Termas de Río Hondo for the next three years.

The Termas de Río Hondo circuit will host the Argentine Grand Prix until 2019 inclusive: announcement made on the sidelines of the second event of the season. This decision comes following the success of the two previous editions. This race brought together no less than 130 spectators in 000 and almost as many in 2015, for its return to the calendar.

The agreement was signed this Sunday, April 3 between Dorna Sports, the Argentine Ministry of Tourism, the Government of Santiago del Estero and OSD, the promoter of the event. In the space of two years, this track has also become one of the drivers' favorite stages.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO, Dorna Sports : “I am very pleased to have reached an agreement with the Termas de Río Hondo route and all parties involved. Together we managed to create a beautiful circuit and a racing atmosphere. South America has a great passion for motorsport and we are proud that MotoGP will continue to be a stopover there for three more years.”
