The 24 Heures Motos is one of those great motorcycle endurance races that all riders and manufacturers dream of winning.
Last April 2017, the GMT94 Yamaha Official EWC Team won the event in front of 74 spectators. The team, also crowned with a third World Endurance Champion title at the end of the 500/2016 FIM EWC final during the Suzuka 17 Hours of Suzuka, will try to achieve a 8e victory in Sarthe. Very incisive, the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team, with Broc Parkes, Marvin Fritz and Takuya Fujita, will be the other Yamaha team to follow in this category.
Firste edition of this legendary race gives Yamaha the opportunity to properly celebrate the 20e anniversary of its fabulous supersport: the YZF-R1! Yamaha is therefore meeting on April 21 & 22, 2018 on the legendary Bugatti circuit (72) to share these highlights together:
YZF-R1 Parade
For the occasion, Yamaha has selected 30 owners of the YZF-R1 in its original version for a parade on Saturday April 21 at 13:20 p.m. All model years will be present and we are happy to be able to share such a moment with as many people as possible.
village
Not to be missed in the village is the Yamaha stand with an exhibition retracing the 20 years of the YZF-R1. Nearly 15 machines will allow you to appreciate the evolution of the vintages, from 1998 to 2018. This is also where fans will be able to purchase the clothing of the GMT94, in an official store.
Contest
A competition, organized in collaboration with Eurosport, allowed you to win a YZF-R1 2018 GYTR/YAMALUBE. Saturday at 14 p.m., Vincent Thommeret (Yamaha Motor Europe National Director – France Branch) will officially hand over the keys and the machine to the lucky winner.
Trophy
To move the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto trophy before the start, the organization called on an unusual transporter: it will be an SSV Yamaha YXZ1000R!
New MT-07
In order to attract female customers, the organization of the 24 Hours, in partnership with Yamaha, is setting up a “Women's Pavilion” where you can discover the new MT-07 2018.
Two-wheel introduction
An introduction to the discovery of two wheels will be possible on the CIK track, next to the accreditation center. You will have the chance to try our models: NMAX, YS125 or even MT-125.

Supersport Pro Tour
