The winter break is nothing more than a distant memory for our young speed guns who are back in action this weekend in Roanne (42) with the opening of the French 25 Power Speed and Endurance Championships.

The kick-off on a calendar of 9 dates spread across France until mid-October. The only change on the table is the cancellation of the Château Gaillard (01) event scheduled for April 14 and 15 and replaced by that of Moirans en Montagne (39) on May 26 and 27.

What about the French 25 Power Speed and Endurance Championships
The Speed Championship really places the emphasis on young drivers with 3 different categories so that they can ride on machines with power adapted to their size and level. Category 1 is reserved for competitors aged 7 to 12, category 2 for those aged between 10 and 14, and finally category 3 is accessible from 12 years old. This last class is also open to adults, parents and children who can compete on the track in a good mood!

Endurance is a prolific discipline for France with numerous world titles. Here too, it is possible to discover this universe quite early. Accessible from 10 years old (and respecting a very specific rest time depending on their age and the power of the machine), the 25 Power Endurance allows teams of 2 to 4 drivers to be formed (including one older than 15 years old). With races lasting a minimum of 3 hours, this is a good way to get started in Endurance.
