107 is the number of days Alexis Masbou had to wait before getting back on the track! A long period therefore and an exciting start to the school year since in 2016, the Albigensian became the spearhead of the Peugeot Moto3 project.

And it was in Jerez, under the sun, that the MGP30 had the opportunity to record its first laps.

Encouraging beginnings, many kilometers covered and an initial interesting and essential in-depth work in a race for competitiveness which promises to be exciting as in recent years the competition has set the bar high.

It was therefore with his head in the handlebars that Alexis Masbou was able to take to the track. These private tests were welcome in order to prepare for the first official session which will be held from March 2 to 4 on the same Jerez circuit.

“Starting a season knowing that we will be one of the ambassadors of a French project is obviously motivating. The desire to move forward and make our Peugeot MGP30 progress were at the heart of this private test on the Jerez circuit. We were lucky in terms of the weather since apart from a few gusts of wind, it was under the sun that we were able to work. As a result, we were able to cover many kilometers. The project is new but I was pleasantly surprised by the chassis of our machine. Of course, we still have work to do but during these two days, we had the opportunity to properly rough out our machine and thus prepare for our next meeting. The enthusiasm is very present and with the team, we are more determined than ever to bring the Sochaux manufacturer's project to fruition.”
