The FIM Board of Directors has chosen to entrust the organization of the General Assembly and the FIM Gala to the Federacio Motociclista d'Andorra (FMA) for two years.

Andorra is one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe bordered by Spain and France. Established at 1 meters above sea level, Andorra la Vella, its capital, is the highest in Europe. It brings together a culturally vibrant and expanding community, as demonstrated by theatrical performances, productions with big names from the world stage and other prestigious events.

Affiliated with the FIM since 1987, the FMA has organized numerous rounds of FIM Trial, SuperMoto, Enduro and Trial des Nations World Championships. She also won the FIM Environment Prize twice.

Ignacio Verneda, Director General of the FIM : “I am delighted that the organization of the General Assembly and the FIM Gala is entrusted to a very active federation like the Federacio Motociclista d'Andorra. This is excellent news for the FIM family and for the motorcycling world. The FMA has approximately 30 years of experience in organizing sporting and cultural events at international level with a very strong commitment to sustainable sport. Andorra offers us an exceptional natural setting, I am convinced that it will be a success!

Josep Punti Tigel, President of the Federacio Motociclista d'Andorra (FMA) : It is a great honor for my country and myself to host the FIM GA and Gala for the next two years. Andorra is a small country located in the Pyrenees, tourism and business are our main sources of income. Organizing international events of this scale is for us the ideal opportunity to introduce our country to as many people as possible. This project was made possible thanks to the economic support of the Town Hall of the city of Andorra la Vella, the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Andorra (through Andorra Turisme), as well as the Crèdit Andorrà bank. We look forward to welcoming you next year!
