The French Motorcycling Federation is innovating in 2018 with the launch of the French E-MTB Enduro Championship reserved for Electrically Assisted Mountain Bikes (AE Mountain Bikes). A first in France with five events on the program spread from April to October.

The race plan will be based on that of Enduro with timed tests and connections to accommodate participants from diverse backgrounds. The events will be open to riders holding an annual AE FFM MTB license, or a “LJA1” day license and will be able to enter the following mixed categories:

  • E Pro: AE mountain bike of 350 Watts maximum and whose assistance cuts off from 45 Km/h.
  • Elite* & National**: AE mountain bike of 250 Watts maximum and whose assistance cuts off from 25 Km/h.

In addition to the French Champions titles, a trophy for the best manufacturer will be awarded after all the events.

October 20/21: Moto-Club Off road Evolution – Salie de Béarn (64)

*Open E (16/18 years), Senior E1 (19/29 years), Senior E2 (30/39 years), Senior E3 (40/49 years), Senior E50 and over.
**Open Nat (16/18 years), Senior N1 (19/29 years), Senior N2 (30/39 years), Senior N3 (40/49 years), Senior N50 and over.
