The rain was the determining factor in the Sunday races organized by ASM Armagnac Bigorre under the control of the FFM. A week after a weekend marked by sun and heat at the 24 Heures Motos, the entire FSBK field had to be vigilant on the Nogaro circuit (32) to avoid the pitfalls of a track declared " wet”.

RACE 1: NOT FAR FROM HALF A MINUTE AHEAD FOR GUARNONI

The leading role in the Superbike race goes to… Jérémy GUARNONI (Kawasaki Tech Solutions)! The stage local takes the lead and offers a real show of force to his audience. The member of Team Tech Solutions quickly kills the suspense and goes it alone during the 1 laps of the race. Erwan NIGON (Honda), Matthieu LUSSIANA (BMW) and Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) are trying to stay in touch with difficulty.

LUSSIANA does not manage to contain FORAY's attacks for very long, who finds the opening after 3 rounds. For its part, NIGON tried to stay in second position until mid-race: moment when FORAY decided to make an effort and get the better of the Honda driver. Well installed in second row, FORAY widens the gap in the last part of the race and ranks 2nd.

Morgan BERCHET (Yamaha) creates a surprise and returns from the middle of the table. He takes turns over LUSSIANA and NIGON to complete the podium!

The paddock observes the poor performances of Axel MAURIN (Yamaha) and David PERRET (Honda) who respectively finish 10th and 11th, both drivers are used to achieving better results: revenge in the second round?

2 laps from the finish, Race Direction waves the red flag following the falls of Bryan LEU (Yamaha), Alex SARRABAYROUSE (Suzuki LMS) and Jonathan HUGOT (Yamaha) in the same corner. The fact of racing puts an end to the debates and freezes the ranking.

In the Superbike Challenger, Gabriel PONS (Kawasaki) is untouchable at home and is even among the Top 10 in the scratch rankings. Behind Team driver Thomas Superpole, Hugo CLERE (Suzuki LMS) finished second ahead of Maxime BONNOT (BMW Tecmas), 3rd.

RACE 2: PERFECT SCORE FOR GUARNONI

The start of the last race of the weekend is given at 17:15 p.m. on the Nogaro circuit. While the entire paddock waited to see Jérémy GUARNONI (Kawasaki Tech Solutions) cross the timing line in the lead on the first lap, it was Erwan NIGON (Honda) who took first place to everyone's surprise.

The Gers public witnessed a particularly eventful race, the drivers did not give each other any favors and everyone gave their best! After a few laps on a drying track, Jérémy GUARNONI, on mixed tires, increases the pace and comes back on NIGON (Honda) losing speed on his rain tires. The rider of the #111 Kawasaki pleases his audience and manages his race perfectly to conclude a perfect weekend with 2 poles, 2 fastest laps in the race and 2 victories!

In pursuit, Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) gets the better of NIGON and goes for second place. The 2017 reigning Champion confided in a press conference that it was difficult to do better than a second place in Nogaro against GUARNONI.

Despite the threatening clouds on the Gers circuit, Morgan BERCHET put his Yamaha on “slick” tires, a strategy which paid off given his result: he finished 3th and relegates NIGON to the foot of the podium.

What can we say about Gabriel PONS (Kawasaki)? 5th in the scratch ranking and clear winner of the Superbike Challenger category despite a complicated start, “Ponpon” dominated his opponents at home.

Tenth, Axel MAURIN made a good start to the race among the leading men. A performance imitated by the representative of the Italian brand, David MUSCAT (Ducati), who finished just outside the top 10.

On the Challenger side, Maxime BONNOT (BMW Tecmas) steals second place from Hugo CLERE (Suzuki LMS) which takes the last step of the podium.

In Superbike, Jérémy GUARNONI pockets 107 points out of 108 possible after the first two stages: impressive! Kenny FORAY, second with 80 points must react so as not to let his biggest opponent fly away. With 3 third places in 4 races, Morgan BERCHET logically sits third in the championship with 59 points.

On the Superbike Challenger side, Gabriel PONS (89 points) takes the lead in the general classification for a small point ahead Hugo CLERE (88 points). Maxime BONNOT (70 points) completes the provisional top 3.

SUPERSPORT – PIRELLI 600 TROPHY

RACE 1: ALL LAPS FOR BOULOM

The 14 laps of the track have not yet started and a racing event is already resonating within the paddock: pole sitter Borja QUERO (Yamaha) falls during the warm-up lap and cannot start.

Cédric TANGRE (Suzuki), author of the holeshot, unfortunately falls at the first turn, the 2017 Champion manages to restart and hangs on to save the points for the 8th square !

It is Enzo BOULOM (Yamaha) who finds himself in the lead ahead of Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha), Louis BULLE (yamaha), Clement STOLL (Triumph) and Guillaume POT (Yamaha) in the first laps of the race. The leader, impressively comfortable on the wet track, widens the gap to the checkered flag and signs a well-deserved victory.

In pursuit of the leader, STOLL increases the pace and isolates himself in second position after getting the better of BULLE and ANTIGA. Following a mechanical problem on his Yamaha n°3 to 5thIn turn, “Loulou” is forced to throw in the towel. For its part, POT fell and could not take part in the debate. ANTIGA therefore naturally reaches the third step of the podium.

Félix PERON (Yamaha) starts from 19th position and point at 4th rank during almost the entire race and fell 2 laps from the end, too bad! Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha) takes advantage of PERON's setbacks to take 4th place of this second debate.

In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, four drivers move wheel to wheel throughout the race within a shifting hierarchy. Valentin GRIMOUX (Yamaha) won on the wet track with 5 seconds ahead of Joris INGIULLA (Yamaha) closely followed by Gaëtan MATERN (Kawasaki). Dylan MILLE (Yamaha) must, for his part, be satisfied with 4th position.

RACE 2: BOULOM ADVANTAGE IN THE RAIN

A new time, Cédric TANGRE made the best start but the driver of the Suzuki n°1 made a mistake in the first corner without being able to restart.

The strong man of the morning, Enzo BOULOM (Yamaha) didn't ask for that much! With an opponent as solid as TANGRE on the mat, the way seems clear for the driver from Alès. Above the rest this weekend, no one is able to compete with BOULOM who immediately widens the gap!

Enzo Boulom

The places freeze in the following rounds, Clement STOLL (Triumph) is in second position followed by Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha), Louis BULLE (Yamaha) and Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha). As the gaps begin to widen, the “safety car” enters the track following the fall of a competitor 8 laps from the finish. All the work has to be done again for the pilots!

Despite this race during which the gaps narrowed, BOULOM retained the lead and confirmed its domination of the day. STOLL and ANTIGA respectively complete the podium in 2th and 3th position. The 4th place is to the credit of Louis BULLE who loses the queens of the Championship…

At the exit of the “safety car”, Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha) and Benoit DELORENZO (Yamaha) have joined Guillaume RAYMOND. They take advantage of the proximity to seize the 5th and 6th positions. The rider of the Yamaha no. 27 finally crosses the finish line in 7th rank.

In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Gaëtan MATERN (Kawasaki) battles firmly for victory with Valentin GRIMOUX (Yamaha). The rider of the #14 Kawasaki finally came out on top and won ahead of GRIMOUX, second. In the same second as his predecessor, Dylan MILLE (Yamaha) climbs to the last step of the podium.

In Supersport, Clement STOLL (82 points) takes the reins of the Championship and relegates Louis BULLE (79 points) in third place while BOULOM (79 points) slots in second following a productive weekend.

As for the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Gaëtan MATERN retains first place with 87 points ahead of Valentin GRIMOUX (74 points) and Joris INGIULLA (58 points).

GRAND PRIX OBJECTIVE – PRE MOTO3

RACE 1: PERRIN COMFORTABLE IN THE RAIN

The wet track did not seem to bother Bartholomé PERRIN (Moriwaki), who pranced in the lead at the start of the race and saw Alexis BOUDIN (Beon Yamaha) return in his wake the following laps. The author of pole position places himself in second row and takes Tony BALLOT (Moto Challenge) on his wheel who started 12th!

Another important player in the category, Guillaume JUCHA (Moriwaki) occupies 4th rank one step ahead of Marius HENRY (Honda) in a fight with Exupéry BEAUMONT (Mir KTM).

A few laps from the finish, BALLOT made a mistake and left 3rd place on the podium in favor of JUCHA. BALLOT finished 4th ahead of HENRY.

At the very end of the race, there is movement in the peak position, an anthological hand-to-hand battle takes place between BOUDIN and PERRIN. Finally the driver of the Moriwaki n°39 crosses the finish line in front of BOUDIN.

Note, the two women in the category, Line VIEILLARD (NSF Yamaha) and Chloé BATTU (Moriwaki) finished 9th and 11th respectively.

RACE 2: DOUBLE FOR PERRIN

Two starts and two holeshots for Bartholomé PERRIN (Moriwaki)! Alexis BOUDIN (Beon Yamaha) is in second position but sees himself left behind lap after lap. Like a veritable metronome in the rain, PERRIN demonstrated flawless consistency and flew to victory. BOUDIN manages his end of the race and confirms 2nd place.

Far behind, the peloton is organizing itself and the positions are fixed. Tony BALLOT (Moto Challenge) confirms his good form and gets on his first podium of the season, in 3rd place. Revelation of the weekend, will he manage to confirm during the next stage?

The 4th and 5th positions are to the credit of Marius HENRY (Honda) and Marceau LAPIERRE (Beon Yamaha).

The two young girls in the category once again demonstrated their valor and moved into the top 10 with a 7th place for Line VIEILLARD (Yamaha) and a 9th place for Chloé BATTU (Moriwaki).

Marceau LAPIERRE remains at the top of the provisional ranking with 71 points ahead of Line VIEILLARD (57 points) and Alexis BOUDIN who is in the top 3 with 55 points.

SIDECAR

RACE 2: MOREAU / ARIFON SHADOWS THE CHAMPION

Excellent start for the author of pole position MOREAU / ARIFON and his runner-up DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU who is in 1stst position from the first pass on the timing line. The two Sides do not let go of each other and to everyone's surprise, it is MOREAU / ARIFON who wins over the multiple French Champion.

In its green bodywork, the chassis powered by a 600cc engine from LE BAIL / LEVEAU engages in a muscular exchange with the Side F1 from BARBIER / CROCHEMORE whose difference in power ultimately makes the difference. The latter then won in 3rd position leaving LE BAIL / LEVEAU at the foot of the podium and in first place in the 600cc category.

Occupying the 5th position during the first laps, the SIRO family duo lost ground against the F1 of LEGLISE / LAFON and VINET / VINET. SIRO / SIRO finally ranks 7th in general and 2th 600cc. CARRE / DUPUIS performed better than the race the day before and completed the podium in the category.

In the provisional scratch ranking, MOREAU / BRICHARD is in the lead with 59 points ahead of LE BAIL / LEVEAU (58 points) and VINET / VINET (54 points). Please note DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU currently occupies 4th place with 47 points.

In 600cc, LE BAIL / LEVEAU is therefore in the lead with 82 points ahead of SIRO / SIRO (51 points) and CARRE / DUPUIS (37 points).
