The Yamaha YZF-R125 and YZF-R3 Challenges continue in 2019. Integrated into the Coupes de France Promosport, these challenges constitute the first stage of the bLU cRU program set up by Yamaha to support riders towards a professional level. And this year, riders will be able to take part in the competition aboard the new Yamaha YZF-R125 and YZF-R3.

Yamaha and Fouloi Racing Services organize under the aegis of the FFM and as part of the Coupes de France Promosport, the YZF-R125 Challenge and the YZF-R3 Challenge. Yamaha riders wishing to participate in the Yamaha Challenge must first be registered in Promosport to be able to participate. Throughout the season, the Fouloi Racing Service will be present to support them. The team will provide different supports to the competitors, gathered every weekend in the paddock in the heart of a brand-new Yamaha village!. Meet at the first round on the Nogaro circuit on March 23/24!

YZF-R125 Challenge: The formula for young talents

Launched in 2012 by Yamaha, the YZF-R125 Challenge has been integrated since 2017 into the “Promo 125” category of the Coupes de France Promosport. In order to facilitate access to motorcycle competition, it is possible to compete from the age of 11. This Challenge YZF-R125 is reserved for YAMAHA YZF-R 125 from the 2008 vintage, purchased new or used, in mainland France.

Assert yourself: YZF-R3 Challenge

As part of the Coupes de France Promosport 400, the Yamaha YZF-R3 Challenge is open to any rider over 12 years old who owns a YZF-R3 from the 2015 vintage.

Bonuses and benefits

• At each event, a general classification will be established in accordance with the order of finish and points will be awarded. At the end of the season, for both the YZF-R125 Challenge and the YZF-R3 Challenge, up to €19 in Yamaha Racing and Yamalube bonuses will be distributed between the top 000. These bonuses will be redeemable in original spare parts and accessories, from the Yamaha catalog. The winner of the YZF-R3 Challenge will be loaned a YZF-R125 for a competitive season in 125. The same will apply to the winner of the YZF-R2020 Challenge.

• Each driver registered for the Challenge will have at the start of the season an allocation of Yamaha and Yamalube products worth €160 including tax (cap, sweatshirt, 4R oil, chain spray, umbrella, etc.).

• Regular partner of Yamaha, KS Tools wanted to extend its involvement in the R3/R125 Challenge. Each registered driver will receive a box of sockets worth €120 including tax.

• Numerous prizes from very different worlds will be won by draw during the season: KS Tools personalized Yamaha/Yamalube/bLU cRU trolley worth €682 including tax, tire sets, Yamaha accessories, training course piloting etc.

bLU CRU PROGRAM

The bLU cRU program aims to support the next generation of young speed and off-road riders. The bLU cRU is the foundation of Yamaha's competition pyramid. The bLU cRU is also represented at the top of each competing discipline. Official Yamaha Racing riders in MXGP, Enduro, Rally-Raid, WorldSBK, WorldSSP and WEC have the responsibility of being ambassadors.
