After completing the first official IRTA test of the season at the Sepang International Circuit, Suzuki Ecstar Team riders Alex Rins and Andrea Iannone traveled to Japan for a quick visit to the Hamamatsu factory, then in Jakarta to attend a very special event in Indonesia.
Iannone et Kidneys landed in Jakarta on February 2 to participate in promotional activities and give interviews to national media.

Rins, on his second visit to the Indonesian capital, was also happy to meet the fans, and the Barcelona driver added: “ Indonesia is a really nice country and you can feel the lovely welcome they give, so for us it's an awesome visit. »
A day later, on February 3, the two athletes visited the legendary circuit of Feel where the World Championship was historically held. Suzuki Indomobile Motors has prepared a wonderful activity plan to celebrate the Jamboree festival named “Born to ride, live to rock!” ". More than 4 Suzuki riders, fans and customers joined the two MotoGP riders, spending the entire day together – all driven by the same passion for the Suzuki brand.
In the morning, the two riders, aboard two new Suzuki GSX-R150s in the colors of the MotoGP replica, shared the track with nearly 1 bikers during a grand parade lap. Iannone and Rins had a lot of fun with the Indonesian fans.
“It was fantastic to ride with such a large number of bikers, a unique experience! », exclaimed Rins.
During the day, they witnessed the official unveiling of the all-new “Shutter Key” GSX-R150 model alongside the Managing Director, Mr. Seiji Itayama, and the Director of Two-Wheel Sales and Marketing, Mr. Yohan Yayah.
Now Iannone and Rins will return home and rest before facing the next MotoGP test, which will take place at the Buriram Circuit (Thailand) from February 16 to 18.
